Guide: Documenting with Standard Work Instructions (SWI)
An SWI documents the single best, safest, and most reliable method for performing a task. It is crucial for training and quality control.
How to Use:

1. AI Assistant (Recommended): Describe the task, including tools and safety info. The AI generates a full draft. Click 'Generate' and save the document when prompted to enable auto-saving.

2. Review & Refine: In the 'Standard Setup' tab, review the AI-generated text. Fill in the 'Purpose', 'Ownership', 'Safety', and other header fields.

3. Detail the Steps: For each step, verify the 'Action/Description' and add any critical 'Key Points' (e.g., quality checks, common mistakes).

4. Upload Images: Click the upload area for each step to add a visual from your device. This is crucial for creating clear, easy-to-follow instructions.

5. Export to PDF: Once complete, use the 'Export as PDF' button to generate a professional, printable document that includes your images.

6. Export to Word: Pro and AI Pro members can also use the 'Export as Word' button to get a text-based version of the instructions for easy inclusion in reports.
Now that you know how it works, head to the dashboard to start building your own diagrams.
