Guide: Using the Improvement Project Workflow
Use this guided workflow when you want to follow a structured problem-solving path from start to finish. It's the best place to start if you have an issue but aren't sure which tool to use first.
The Improvement Project is your central hub for a complete problem-solving initiative. It integrates multiple FlowSwift tools into a single, cohesive workflow.
How to Use:

1. Start and Define: From the main dashboard, click 'Start New Project'. Clearly state the problem you want to solve.

2. Name and Save: Click 'Start Analysis'. You will be immediately prompted to name and save your project. This ensures your work is saved from the beginning, and all subsequent progress will be auto-saved.

3. Perform Root Cause Analysis: After saving, you have two options for the 5 Whys analysis:
- AI Guided: Choose this tab and click 'Start AI Guided Analysis'. The AI will ask you a series of 'Why?' questions conversationally.
- Manual Input: This tab provides five empty question/answer slots. Fill them in with your own analysis, then click 'Analyze Manual Input' to have the AI determine the root cause based on your manual entries.

4. Review Results: Once either analysis is complete, the AI provides an 'Identified Root Cause' and a 'Potential Solution'.

5. Create Artifacts: A new section appears with buttons to create linked diagrams. Click any button (e.g., 'Create Process Map', 'Build RACI Matrix') to be taken to that tool with the project context pre-loaded into the AI assistant.

6. Save and Link: When you save your new diagram, it is automatically linked back to your project. The button on the project page will change from 'Create...' to 'View...', allowing you to easily access all project-related documents from one place.

7. Export Final Report: When your analysis is complete, use the 'Export Project Report' buttons to download a consolidated PDF or Word document containing the problem statement, 5 Whys analysis, and all your linked visual artifacts.
Now that you know how it works, head to the dashboard to start building your own diagrams.
