Guide: Designing a Hierarchical Map
Ideal for visualizing organizational charts, work breakdown structures, or any system with a clear parent-child relationship.
How to Use:

1. AI Assistant: Describe the structure top-down (e.g., 'The CEO is at the top. The VP of Sales and VP of Engineering report to the CEO...'). Click 'Generate Diagram' and save your work when prompted.

2. Standard Setup: Add each 'Node' (person, task, etc.). For each node, use the 'Parent' dropdown to select its direct superior. Nodes without a parent are automatically placed at the top (root) level.

3. Editing Style: Click 'Edit Diagram', then click on any node in the diagram preview to change its color or size.

4. Convert: Use the 'Convert Map' button to transform your hierarchy into a sequential process format like a Linear or Top-Down map.

5. Export to PDF: Once your diagram is ready, use the 'Export as PDF' button to generate a professional, high-quality PDF document for sharing or printing.

6. Export to Word: Pro and AI Pro members can also use the 'Export as Word' button to get a text-based version of the hierarchy for easy inclusion in reports.
Now that you know how it works, head to the dashboard to start building your own diagrams.
